Novak Commercial Construction is a Georgetown, Texas-based General Contractor that offers design-build, construction, and construction management. Our mission is to build and facilitate long-term relationships while adding value to owners, tenants, and communities.

Our wide body of work spans retail, high-end and fast-casual restaurants, industrial and automotive facilities, medical, wellness, and multi-family industries.

Morgan McLaughlin, President, Commercial Construction

Morgan McLaughlin

President

Morgan McLaughlin started his career shortly after graduating from Texas A&M University as an Assistant Project Manager. Morgan was raised in Georgetown, Texas, and still calls Georgetown home today where he resides with his wife Stacy and two boys.

With 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Morgan has an extensive background in developing, managing and delivering numerous roll-out concepts nationwide, with the vast majority of experience in high-end restaurants, retail centers, and automotive, industrial, and storage facilities. His passion is assisting clients in every way possible to produce their exact vision within budget.

Morgan enjoys hunting, fishing, watching his sons in their extracurricular activities, and spending as much time with his family first and foremost. He considers his Novak team members extended family and enjoys spending spare time with all of them, both in and outside of work!

Kellie Jones

Kellie Jones

Operations Manager

Kellie was the first official hire at Novak Commercial Construction and has helped the company grow by planning, implementing, and supervising the processes and procedures of the organization in addition to implementing software needed.

At her previous employer, Kellie started as a part-time administrative assistant and within a few years was tasked with managing all administration for a national roll-out client and was responsible for training and onboarding all GC’s and their staff on the policies and procedures mandated by the client. That success led into the growth and development of a successful division that eventually led her to Novak Commercial Construction at its inception in 2017.

With more than 25 years of combined administrative and personnel management experience in both the commercial construction industry and in multi-family residential management, Kellie’s duties include hiring and training of administrative staff, managing quality assurance, safety programs, and strategizing process improvements to ensure everyone completes their tasks on schedule. In addition, Kellie oversees the organization’s overall functionality and prepares reports for management meetings.

Kellie and her husband have lived in Georgetown, Texas, for 24 years where they raised their four children. In her spare time, Kellie enjoys all things outdoors: boating, hiking, and playing with her pups!

Laura Meyer

Controller

Laura grew up in northern California and started her career in construction 28 years ago. Laura joined the Novak team in early 2020 and resides in Georgetown, Texas, with her husband and two children.

With 28 years of construction industry experience, from owning two construction companies to leading and managing her own real estate team, Laura has expansive construction and overall business experience. For the past 20 years, Laura has focused on construction accounting as her specialty and has implemented several different ERP platforms. Since joining Novak Commercial Construction, Laura implemented GAAP financial reporting, financial controls, annual audited financial statements, and a new ERP system to increase accounting efficiencies. Laura has been instrumental in establishing bonding capacity adding to the growth and financial stability of NCC.

Laura enjoys supporting her children in their respective sports, vacationing with her family, driving her sports car, and enjoying a good glass of wine with her husband. In addition, Laura loves to continue her education and believes, “Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.” ~ Ronald E. Osborn

Dan Bradley, Novak Commercial Construction Director of Industrial Construction

Daniel Bradley

Director of Industrial Construction

With more than 20 years of success in quality commercial and residential construction projects, he is dedicated to ensuring high level of construction quality and developing relationships with clients. His experience ranges from small tenant improvements to multi-story large ground-up construction projects in healthcare, automotive, retail, and industrial sectors.

Dan is a self-motivated and driven professional dedicated to developing new client relationships and creating internal efficiencies by working with the operations team to develop best practices that grow our team and company.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He also loves to travel with his wife and two sons.

Justin McDaniel

Director of Retail Construction

Justin has worked in construction most of his life. Beginning his career in carpentry & millwork, he successfully transitioned to a Commercial Superintendent for more than 10 years in the field and then to Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager and, ultimately, Director of Retail Construction.

With a complex understanding of every facet of construction and over 150 projects completed in several different roles, Justin has proven himself valuable and an asset to the team. Justin has completed program management and roll outs for national fast-food chains, retail re-branding programs and healthcare facilities. His experience is wide ranged from small retail tenant finish outs to large civil construction and ground-up construction and everything in between.

Justin’s hobbies include skydiving, with over 4,500 jumps, long range shooting, and gunsmithing. He enjoys spending his weekends with his wife Erin and three beautiful daughters.

Brittny Klein, Novak Commercial Construction Director of Multi-family Construction

Brittny Klein

Director of Multi-Family Construction

Brittny has worked in the Construction industry for more than 20 years. She started her career in estimating and then as a Commercial Construction Superintendent where she spent seven years in the field. In addition, Brittny has had roles as Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. She has experience in banking, retail, restaurant, hospitals and senior living facilities, public and private schools, as well as a multi-level mixed-use office, retail, and restaurant space.

With such a large range of experience, Brittny is well versed in all aspects of the construction industry. As the Director of Multi-Family Construction, Brittny oversees all multi-family projects.

Brittny resides in Georgetown, Texas, with her husband and three fur babies. Her hobbies include trips to vineyards, working out and spending as much time with her family and friends as she can.
