Georgetown, Texas – October 10th’s ribbon cutting and grand opening party for The Brownstone at The Summit marked the first major benchmark for the Novak Brothers’ newest development, The Summit at Rivery Park. Over 300 of Georgetown’s VIPs celebrated with a full day of events including an intimate morning ribbon cutting and an exclusive evening cocktail party.
After touring the model homes, guests enjoyed a night of live music, complimentary cocktails and a light-bites menu provided by Z’Tejas. The evening wrapped with a sunset overlooking the San Gabriel River showcasing the development’s rooftop terrace views.
Inspired by the elegant 19th century neighborhoods of Chicago and New York, The Brownstones feature a selection of native stone facings, distinctive rooftops, iron accents and decorative stoops, offering homes unlike anywhere else in Central Texas. Priced from the $300s, homeowners will enjoy pocket parks and community spaces, as well as hike and bike trails throughout the community.
“This is an offering pretty unique and different to the Georgetown culture,” said Co-founder Jeff Novak. “The Brownstones is a refreshing, lifestyle-based community featuring the city’s natural trails and backdrop, coupled with the charm and convenience of urban-village living.” The development’s website, www.texasbrownstones.com allows visitors access to customization tools including “Build Your Own Brownstone” as well as an interactive masterplan and trail maps.
The Brownstones is the initial phase of The Summit at Rivery Park, a 32-acre mixed-use development located off Rivery Boulevard, just minutes north of Austin on Interstate 35. The development is sited on a bluff overlooking the scenic San Gabriel River and publicly dedicated 60-acre Rivery Park that will feature high-end boutique and retail, five restaurants and 114 single-family attached residences.
In Phase II, The Summit will invest $62 million into the construction of a 225-room, four-star hotel with banquet rooms, 51,000 square feet of conference space as well as structured parking.
“As Georgetown’s first high-end mixed-use development, The Summit is positioned to take advantage of this incredible location, providing shopping, dining and office space to a growing professional community, as well as a destination for regional and national conferences and events,” says Novak.
The event was designed by IF marketing & advertising, the full-service agency behind all marketing efforts for The Brownstones.
“Our team is working hard to aid The Brownstones as each phase of the development is unveiled,” said company CEO, Joy McVean. “Our commitment to detail, partnered with The Brownstone’s unique design and concepts, opens the door for a merger between historic resonance and modern vision.”
